Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(117) 11/27/2012
Panel One
Dr. Tucker, with Lavainge’s help, do something to the PNE gun then abruptly gets up telling them all to “RUN!” They do, with Alley picking up his club as he does it. We see that whole boards are all lit up red, and one flashing around the battery readings. It says “Overload in progress.”
Panel Two
“What did you do?!” The Baroness shouts as they start to run from the horror oozing toward them at increasing speed. Ahead of them are swarms of creatures, some manufactured from animal parts and animated by either the necromancers or Dr. Havelone’s secret reanimation technology.
Panel Three
They run past Dr. Havelone’s dust sprinkled and web shrouded lab long in disuse as they hurry to reach the stairs that takes them to the basement of the old edifice. The PNE gun flashes red and has a harsh warning sound with each flash as they run and blob of ectoplasm engulfs it. -- Had to get up early for doctor’s appointment.
When the Security Guard sees that Alley has bare feet, he’ll probably force Alley to fill out a five page disclaimer which will take an hour to complete!
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
