Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(109) 11/19/2012
Panel One
Dr. Dark is intrigued with this “Outsider” and can see a need to secure him as a specimine. He tasks one of his spy-eyes located at the haunted mansion to follow that creature wherever he goes. Like GPS they can be located and linked anywhere on the planet. He will follow this being till he can effect a proper securing of him for analysis. In the mean time his preparations for Alley Oops torture and demise are drawing nigh. Very soon the final preparations will be complete then it will be time for the fun to begin.
Panel Two
Alley leaves the calm corpse-being to return to the expedition. Looking back briefly but the Outsider cannot be found without making a sound.
Panel Three
The PNE gun is ready to go again. They have taken a break to drink bottled water and rest before pressing onward. The burnt flesh smell is mostly gone. Dr. Tucker makes an observation, “this must be part of a series of tunnels that lead up to the surface forming a cross wind down here. Always fresh.” --
no, its lola. after running off with the arab oil executive, they returned to 2002 and made millions, then retired to the US, where theyve been living in luxury for the past 10 years. her new husband finally persuaded her to go see doc about getting some ships to earth 2 to exploit the oil there and have enough money to purchase it as their own private getaway. she happened to arrive at the same time as alley and oola, though.
Good morning Benders and all. The Benders have done a nice job of building suspense by not showing who is yelling at Alley. It looks like he may be off his meds again.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
