Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(108) 11/18/2012

“This is really a mess,” Dr. Tucker said seeing more of his beloved device on closer inspection. “it will be shaky using it so we should save it for emergencies only.”
“Okay Doctor,” Lavainge replies seeing that the the danger of the ion batteries exploding isn’t a good prospect to finish the expedition. The Baroness looks over her shoulder with her cold precise eyes.
Panel Two
General Mann is pacing in his office, smoking his cigar even though it is against building codes. The danger of another mega hurricane frankenstorm once in 100 years “Beula” threatens just like Sandy did but greatly less than 100 years ago. Even following its path! When it hits the fan by the bucket load.
If they don’t find and return Alley Oop and Dr. Lavainge Avril before it hits who knows when they can make it back. He decided to send in a “Gray Omega” recon force from Fort Bragg experienced in other worldly activity to secure the base. One of Dr. Dark’s myriad eye-bugs heard and saw it all.
Panel Three
“No matter what, I will not let them kill you, that is my word.” Alley said to the Outsider. He would not let this—-person be harmed. He is like nothing Alley had ever seen in his wide travels. Dr. Dark is also aware of this being now and is interested.
Panel Four
“I just knew you would not run in fear as so many others have for so many years have done,” Replied the strange corpse-like being with a slight rise in his fluttering whispering voice. Several ghost balls flicker around him, one rolls gently down his tattered and moldy coat. All display that strange color of the “worm.”
Good Morning all. It is curious that the sign say Trespassers will be prosecuted, considering the local, state, and US governments couldn’t stop any of the occupy movement from invading and occupying buildings. If the building was seized, I’d expect the government to at least put a chain on the door and seize all computers. I was thinking from yesterday and agree that Ava would be a great resource for Alley and Ooola.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

Unlike Dick Tracy which has only a 6 week window to tell a story, the Benders seem to have unlimited time. Must be different syndicates.

Just compare any other strip like say “Annie” to this and you will find that the Benders drag stories out way tooooo long.
