“Got it?” Asks Lavainge. “Got it!” Answers Dr. Tucker.
Panel Two
“Okay Alley, stand aside!” Dr. Tucker shouts, angling the gun up from the floor pivoting on the coil housing under the barrel. Lavainge is ready to hit the activate button, the indicator is flashing red.
Panel Three
“Fire!” Shouts Dr. Tucker
Panel Four
Unlike the previous energy beam, this one is like a Tesla coil lighting up only with more branchlets of energy as it lances out striking the raggedy behemoth in the chest-abdomen area. For micro seconds you can see its awful patch work skin and body illuminated. Shocking in its clarity.
Maybe he read the Mayan calendar when he was there? LOL Now, all of a sudden he’s going to use the remote control to go to Wonmug? Didn’t he just say he needed to find it? It disappeared from around his neck when he came back to Moo with Lola.
Now we could have a pole shift which we are due. We could also have an electromagnetic storm from the sun like the event in 1859. Knocked out telegraph communications. Today it would knock out a hell of a lot more. We could be in real trouble.
Much of our critical software, etc is supposed to be hardened against pulses, which should be resistant to pole shifts. Hopefully, long enough to save our bacon.
If he memorized that rather sketchy map the Arab showed them. lol Otherwise, since the Arab just showed up from some previous unheard of place, Oop may have a problem finding Lola.

When returning to the present, the time travel is linear, a year gone by in Moo, is a additional year in the present.
