Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(90) 10/31/2012
Panel One
There is a disagreement between the Baroness and Dr. Tucker over the disposition of the chest of secrets. Dr. Tucker says it is safer in the rented truck, whereas the lissome Baroness demands the chest is hers by right of familial ownership and also found on her property.
Panel Two
Lavainge tells them just for safe keeping to put it in the truck because they don’t know what the entity would do with it should they leave it unattended. Baroness von Clace reluctantly agrees.
Panel Three
Alley takes it and the Baroness unlockes the rental truck for him. Puts it in then electronically locks it down. They go back inside to rest and eat. No one is willing to disrobe fully to take a shower so a damp cloth is used with soap and fresh clothes are put on.
Panel Four
When the night comes they will go again. The ghost destroying gun remains with them and surrounded with the remaining emitters for a protective screen. They will be forced to go back into the under-cellar as night approaches.

This will be where the hidden parts of the past history of the house resides. From the past owners of it who lived and either died in it or were driven insane.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
