Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(89) 10/30/2012
Panel One
One of the rough hewn tablets may be from the Eltdown shards. Thought incomplete! Rarest of the rare. Any museum (and very rich individuals) would pay millions for some of it or all of it. But its secrets are priceless if the language could ever be fully deciphered.
Panel Two
“We really need to go back down there now,” Alley admonished them. They were so enraptured by the finds they were reluctant to continue. Alley knew he had to keep urging or they wouldn’t go again today or tomorrow or anytime soon.

Now . . . ain’t THAT a shame, Alley?
Well, Hugpounces (yeah, yeah, I know that’s from the Rip Haywire board, but unless someone can come up with soething unique . . .)

Alley must be really strong to bounce a thick solid rubber ball like that. Fantastically strong as I know he is. Maybe tomorrow Dinny will come.

Pssst, Alley, find Dr. Wonmug. He’s your friend. Get stepping on moving the story forward. Jeez…..

Alley, listen to Wootitoot. Another thing you can do to pass away the time is to look around to see if you can find any loose ends lying around. If you find any, try tying them up for us.

Yes, speed it up. We are the NOW generation and don’t have patience beyond frozen pizza and microwave popcorn. Give us a 3 minute track and Angry Birds.

So Alley is disappointed that Dinny didn’t greet him? Did Alley send a note saying, ‘Dinny, I’ll be at this spot on this date and time’? Oh, Alley, your a pro at this time travel business, quit wallowing in self pity and go see where your friends are! Sheesh!
On NightGaunt’s story, hmm, so easily distracted! Sounds like me!

I haven’t seen Dinny for a long time. Does Alley actually have a plan for contacting Dr. Wonmug?

The NOW generation? Not likely. That’s too slow. This is the WAS generation! If something I demand was not already provided for in advance, it’s too late! I would not want to be a parent in this age.

I believe my generation has spoiled all the following generations.

Just say no to creepy floating leaves.

What if they have arrived in a different Moo? Sort of like the TV program “Sliders”.

We saw all that nice background when Oop and Ooola first returned to Moo. Now we’ve seen nothing but stupid floating leaves since Saturday.

Gweedo* …. yep, the great depression was a real bust and then we followed that with WWII. You may be right about the over comp. as I sure did NOT want my kids to go through either one of those events… only partly succesful it seems. I’m soon to be 84 and as Shakespeare opined that the " world is out of joint "… seems true.
