Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(88) 10/29/2012
Panel One
“This is interesting,” Alley says, “but don’t we need to take care of the ‘worm’ haunting this house?” The others look up, the Baroness seems unhappy at the interruption.
Panel Two
Dr. Tucker was examining what appears to be a petrified or hardened bit of scaly bark with unknown script on the polished other side. Who and what could have done that? All those stories in the Popul Vuh and Necronomicon about previous epochs with its own peculiar life including human level intelligent ones be true?
That reminds Tucker of that brain physics scientist Dr. Hironimous Neugog who found a strange “head dress” on Nan Matol among the strange ruins. Said it wasn’t designed for a human skull, and was related to his own research on conversion of human thoughts into directed energy and back again. He disappeared after some strange accident with a spider and his equipment. Wonder what happened to him? Was he killed or transformed?
Panel Three
“Don’t you see? This thing wants to keep us away from the hidden under-cellar! It put this here to buy you off. You can always look at it later can’t yuh?”
“Yes Alley, you are right!” Dr. Tucker said, Lavainge looks a bit crestfallen for being fooled so easily. She set the peculiar starfish-barrel shaped-animal totem-thing carefully back in the niter encrusted and dusty chest. She knows she is one of the few humans to touch such a thing crossing a gulf of eons in the unknown history of this planet.
Hard to believe Ooola has never come across chocolate on one of her trips to the 20th century, but whatever. She’ll have to put it on her shopping list for when they get back to Wonmug’s time. That little bag is probably good for 4 or 5 cups, then Umpa will get hooked and demand more. Ooola will have to start importing chocolate from the future and open the first Godiva’s in Moo. LOL
Atill looks like she’s addicted to cocoa and the only reason she wants to go to the 21th century its to get more, in fact she asked Oop to bring her along cause she feels unsafe but today it’s ok to be left alone with Umpa as long Alley still bring her along later…
Seriously! It will make more sense if she got a bag of cocaine…
Good morning Benders and all. That small bag won’t last long. Ooola was going to stick by her man but not when there’s a chance to catch up on what’s been going on in Moo. But what happened to Yochi?
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

Interesting. So they are at the right landing site. We just weren’t shown that lake near them. Not a Sunday repeat of Monday either. Much better.

We’ll never know what happened to Yochi, Lola, or what the original intent of going to Wonmug was. I’d like to be wrong on this.
