Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(53) 9/22/12
Panel One
At the same time on Earth 2 the govt-corporate expidition (USAF/USMC & TexComm) has been setting up equipment to study the EM emanations of the metallic pseudo-ophidian giant heads. Copper-tungsten wire have been wound around them, the six heads in the closest cluster to take oscillation readings and do frequency checks to see what that vibration may be for. Both the military’s and TexComm’s science people are in agreement that somehow the shape and weight or mass of the heads must remain as they are or that vibration rate changes into a deadly sympathetic frequency that kills. (They came very close to hemorrhaging to death.)
Lola and Oscar are riding some dinos (two seven foot tall bipeds that feed on leaves and fronds) that Lola made to come over to them. One red for her and a black one for Oscar so that they could take a ride around a larger perimeter and scout. That and Lola and Oscar are going to talk about what is going on back at their camp.
Panel Two
“Don’t that beat all how you can do that!” Oscar said, mopping his bald head and putting the bush hat back on. He recalled what Alley had told them about the unusual abilities of these people of of this other alien earth. But to actually see it is extraordinary!
“How did you learn how to do that?” He asked wanting to learn how to do it himself.But she told him it took much time and study plus inhaling of the smoke from certain leaves to “enhance the mind” in learning the mental calisthenics to be able to do it. She will try anyway just to please him.
Panel Three
Back on our Earth Alley has hooked the cable into the plug and at once felt himself leaving his body and managed to get on his knees before he went OOB “Out Of Body.” If felt like he was falling a great distance along a tube of shimmering colors and fleeting shapes as he moved to Dr. Tucker’s mind through a machine that was originally designed and built over 100 years ago. (Alley had no idea about the controls on the helmet fortunately Dr. Tucker had preset them before hand. )
Did anyone notice that if the Ref doesn’t move after he drops or throws up the ball that both guys are in a good position to whack him and he will be out like a light and then no rules will be enforced. the lefty – righty bit .
“Hope he has his club.” # This is going to be one of those times when Alley, Mr. Oop to the cognoscenti, CAN"T find his club. Every other time, when he really doesn’t need it, the club just pops into his hand seemly from nowhere. But, when he really, really needs it, it’s nowhere to be found! Odd, isn’t it? # The second panel looks like a high school prank gone really bad!
NightGaunt is rolling right along. How long will Oscar work at learning what’s necessary to control the dinos? A day? 3 maybe? Does Alley take his Club with him? Hope so, he’ll need it! . Larry’s got us on pins and needles with Alley in a steel box. .
The Bender’s have Alley at a strange angle in comparison with the rest of the players. hmmm, to generate interest? Could be.

He seems to be looking down on the other players from a high vantage point.” - Good eye, David. - One of the first things I was taught in art school (about a 100 years ago, but I’ve not forgotten) is how to design a drawing in proper perspective. Bender-hell-U-broker seems to have thrown all the rules out the window. If he completed this drawing to include all of Oop’s figure, including the part outside the panel, Oop would stand about 18’ tall.
I can say that in this case perspective was ignored in order to make Alley Oop more predominate to help us feel what he would be feeling. (I doubt it but there you have it.)
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

Good Morning Benders and all. Happy 1st day of Autumn.
So Alley is on a team. He definitely will need to take charge
