You must remember that the ball is solid rubber and heavy too. Bruises galore.

Somebody must have pointed out to the benders the ball they use is very dangerous… a little too late cause we have seen Opp hit it with his bare foot with no conseguenceses….

The uniform will probably make Alley look like a hockey goalie!

Tomorrow we’ll see Alley looking at a uniform then next Thursday, he’ll actually put it on! Friday will be a recap day.
I wonder what Oola is doing? The chocolate must have had some effect by now….

Uniform? Oh, brother! Now it will take three weeks for Alley to suit up. Get the game going already.

What century is this game to begin?

I have no problem viewing this strip. I think the Benders are doing a good job. Am I the only one who thinks this way?

Good morning Benders and all. Uniforms – how exciting! Now we are getting somewhere. It’s nice to see Alley asserting himself and to see his confidence.

WW2*…. I guess we are about the same age, and I’m not angry with the strip like many of these middle aged curmudgeons that pour out the vitriol constantly. I guess being over 80 we are used to a slower moving world than the electronic society… I keep telling myself ! I am a tad uncomfortable with the Mayan drift of this at the moment as I’m fairly familiar with that culture and there’s bound to be shortcuts, leading to some sad errors as this proceed… BUT, it IS the Bender’s choice so I either look at it or skip.

The best way to enjoy the Bender’s story is to vaguely remember what has gone before the current strip. however, I do read it every day I turn on a PC.

Apparently the ball doesn’t hurt when kicking it in practice. It only hurts in the real game.
