Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 14 “Dark Trail of Doom”(45) 7/26/12
Panel One
Alley still tries to swat that reanimated velociraptor with the feather head stripe using his heavy club but the darn thing is too fast for him! Two more hisses above and two of the zombie ’raptors are standing on the entrance block hissing down at him.
Panel Two
The other zombie ’raptor calls to them then in a split second those two react to a “fftfftfft!” They scream into the super sonic and explode in flames an cinders as they tried to escape the deadly exploding darts.
Panel Three
Using the surprise Alley knocks the other velociraptor away with a “bonk” then got in through the open door and slammed it shut with A loud “clang!” The undead creature “Stripe” leaps to it and scratches the door digging into the metal but no more then leaves.
Good morning Benders and all! I just love the plot twists wiht Yochi being a villian, then a good guy, and now a bad guy again! Great art again by the Benders. I know I couldn’t get away from Yochi if he was holidng me like that. I’m sure Oop will knock him hard if he just doesn’t let go of Ooola. Keep up the great story and I love the detail in the first frame.
and speaking about the pyramid in the first panel, the landscape around that one is quite flat and doesn’t have the elevation changes depicted… as well, they can’t be that far from without being near other man made walls etc. Just sayin’.
100 to 1 this ends as lame as the last story arc, no violence, the characters hug and kiss when they should duke it out then they sit and have a good cry then go on as if nothing had happened and all the loose ends hang limp like fringe on a cowboy’s vest. Rock-paper-scissors or thumb wrestling!
Let’s hope it doesn’t end like one Western gun battle: Two women were fighting over a man, and they were both such poor shots that the only casualty was the man they were fighting over!
The REAL Alley Oop wouldn’t drag this out in demanding that Yochi let her go. He would crack Yochi’s head with the axe! Give us back our Alley Oop, Benders!!!

That is how I look at the art just relate it to Loacher and it suddenly doesn’t look so bad. Just a bit lazy though.
Next panel Ooola makes an end run around Yochi to Alley.
