Good thing that they all speak the same language.

Is this Carole’s apology for the whole “wimp-out-with-Hamid” sequence?

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 14 “Dark Trail of Doom”(44) 7/25/12

Alley is just outside the entrance into the “vault” where the Erikon tube has been placed deep within and is under guard by Chet, Oscar, Nobu and soldiers from Ft. Mitchum and the “Sunshine” JTTF. He has been confronted by one zombie velociraptor who has just called others to her to take down Alley Oop and anyone else foolish to come this way.

Iron Palm and his team are in there, in uniform walking to where the tube is and its guardians. He has been at the base before under cover and now he is using it to get at that precious piece of technology that Dr. Dark needs.

    Panel One

Iron Palm’s team is made up of hulking easy walking men, mostly blond with brown or blue eyes, their are craggy and bulging with muscles. They are far smarter than many humans are. Their kind is extinct on this earth though some humans plan on cloning them sooner or later. But Dr. Dark’s methods are faster. Alley Oop detests them on sight and there are six of them.

    Panel Two

“Now you know your roles?” Iron Palm asked them as they started to get closer to where the soldiers are and the Erikon tube. “Affirmative” they said in a low voice. “Good” he replied giving them a big smile. Now back to business.

    Panel Three

Chet was surprised when his communicator beeped. He shouldn’t be getting any incoming communications now that they are in the active Faraday grid.“He-hello?” He asked. “Oh, yes captain Lee, come in.”

Watch out good guys, you have a few foxes in sheep’s clothing. Do not believe anything you hear.
    Great story development Night-Gaunt.

We’ll see how Carol handles this. My money says that Oop fans are in for a disappointment.

Hey, Chief. You don’t know who you are messing with. “He’ll knuckle your head ’fore you can count to FOUR!” That’s a line from “Alley Oop”(performed by the Hollywood Argyles and Paul Revere and the Raiders, among others. Like the song says, “He’s the the toughest man there is alive!”

seems like most would like to see violence to take place… so-called “action”… maybe Alley should get Wonmug to ship him an AK-47 to give him a BIG advantage…. (with xtra ammo)

A spear versus an axe. Hmmm…..
Alley Oop’s always been that “mean motor scooter and bad go-getter,” but I guessing that Yochi is no slouch.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens next.

Alley is ready for action but he doesn’t necessarily want it to take place. He is an easy going guy hard to rile but when he does watch out. Except with the Benders when he can be angry one moment and calm the next. Rather jarring to me.

Good Morning Benders and all. Alley on the scene and taking charge. Ooola will probably have to calm him down.
Benders are on track and never have to apologize for their
    work.

Or may be a Ford F250 pickup, you can put 15 in the ground and 8 in the hospital with one of those and a tree.

Somebody is in for an attitude adjustment.
(Recent sign: Due to the high cost of ammunition, warning shots will no longer be given!)
