“Earth 2 Rover?” Are we there yet, running around on the planet? I should think a journey to the far side of the Earth’s orbit would take at least a few months. Or is the entire ship called “Earth 2 Rover?” If so, what is the name of the actual rover vehicle? PS: No color yet. Perhaps by morning…
Yesterday the strip was B & W early in the morning, and then later in the day it changed to color (and the color is still there – 6/1 strip). As I post at 2:56 p.m., today’s strip is still B & W.
Who needs colour? I don’t. Weekday strips have always been in B&W, and most strips that are coloured for the web are done by people who have no idea what the real artists would want if they were to colour the strips themselves. This is the way the strips are meant to be seen.
Most strips are done in B+W and color according to the media where they are printed or published.. Go Comics will gt it sorted out and it is no big deal. Patience please.
@SASKSLEDDOG: Good old “Glorious Black and White”, eh? Let me put it this way—"How ya’ gonna keep ‘em down on the farm, after they’ve see Paree?" I was okay with black and white until I saw the daily strips done in color. Then there was no way I was going to go back to black and white. The fact is that these strips WERE meant to be seen in color—but economic and technological factors prevented that from becoming a daily reality. With computers and the web this is no longer the case.
Isn’t that the Earth calling spaceship “Rover” (Earth “to” Rover) in the backwards way Hollywood usually does radio calls (professionals would say “Rover, this is Earth”).

GoComics.com is a huge disappointment. They should have shipped a magnifying glass the strips are so small. Not to mention black and white.
