I was lucky, in a way…we didn’t move as often as your family…
Two kindergartens, one on each coast… then only 4 schools till I graduated from high school.
But like you, I thought moving was normal and that some kids were “stuck” in one place.It never occurred to me till I was much older that many people (including my own sister) hated and resented being uprooted.
I kinda saw it as a chance for self-reinvention…though like Agnes, I was pretty clueless about coming up with a better design.
