I never really understood ‘living in the moment’. I guess it means: do what you want to do when you want to do it.

Some moments are definitely better than others.

Living in the moment means living without regard to the past or future.
Taken to extremes, itmeans ignoring any and all obligations and being unprepared for any future need, no matter how likely. It leads to ignorance via ignoring boring education, poverty via spending all money on whatever the fancy of the moment is as well as having no income via boring jobs, homelessness and death.
In moderation, it means enjoying being alive RIGHT NOW, without being depressed by previous problems and failures or worries of future problems and needs — while still dealing with them as needed.
My beloved Agnes is an extremist.

If Agnes HAD a map…… it would lead her everywhere and nowhere. And still probably have her meeting with the principal during several stops on that map.
