What doesn’t kill us only makes us mad, and want revenge. our family motto.

I think for Trout’s mother, words of one syllable are better….
and with no "S"s to slur.

Will Trout’s mom be able to read it? I agree with Agnes, I’m definitely embittered and emotionally damaged.

what doesn’t kill us leaves us in a hospital bed, weak as a baby. as seen in the Simpson’s episode ’Homer’s Triple Bypass’.

From my impression of Nietzsche embittered was his definition of stronger.

What doesn’t kill us makes us, well, anything but dead.

    StephenG….
    that’s what I was thinking.

Some things that don’t kill you are damaging…. including survival through emotional abuse, serious accidents, war, famine and pestilence.

But other things that don’t (or at least seldom) kill you are …oh… say, ice cream, blue skies and kisses.
