    Actually, a marshmallow is a plant. The sugary confection is named after the plant because it originally was made from parts of the plant

    It’s part animal (gelatin) and part plant (corn syrup). Definitely an omnivore invention.

    I was semi-right! sugar & egg whites. Stephen Gilberg has the rest – gelatin. (with a little of vanilla).
