Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

Yes, I did. Just as well I explained my post anyway, some of the other posters replied that they didn’t get it until I explained it.

Agnes should write a how to book; they’re enough goofs out there that would buy it. “How I Communicate With Birds.”

How about " 10 things not to tell a toad."

Susan, the high, piercing sound is symbolized with the conical whirl line.It is emerging from her nose area, which I believe to be in front of the thought shooting part of the brain.

Tell you what, Agnes.
You come here to NYC and use your telepathy on the damn pigeons, telling them to stay away from my windows.
BTW, what’s that on Trout’s nose in the last frame?

Those are Agnesian thought waves.
Probably will not harm a bird’s brain.
Good to have harmless thoughts.
