Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

Made myself a spaghetti with Italian Sausage sandwich the other day, it was pretty darn good. I used traditional bread though. The only thing I sandwich between graham crackers is marshmallows and chocolate.

I remember my grandma asking, " Do you want a peanut butter and jelly or a ham sandwich?
Me: I want ham.
Grandma: Well you’re getting peanut butter and jelly.

Sometimes you don’t even get the question. You get what’s there.

Nothing wrong with a peanut butter and mayonnaise (I prefer
Miracle Whip) sandwich.

I go right from here to ‘health capsule®’ when TC does Agnes’ food habits.

But this is a mayonnaise and noodle on crackers. Better to have had the noodles in some kind of soup and have the may on crackers.

If Agnes had a home computer instead of booking time with the library computer ….. I would send her to “neverseconds” Its a blog by a grade school girl in Scotland. She takes photos of her school lunch and provides a commentary. Its very good. But some of the school lunches? would make you cringe.
