Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

. . . and it’s awesome – to maintain that suction while wearing a nose clip! Superman probably couldn’t do that!
Agnes’ nose MUST be allowed to survive and (one day) breed. Evolution demands it!

Maybe if Trout gets close enough, the weight on the end of the board will make her slide off. At any rate, that is one strong nose.

Will the nose stay? Or will it sloooowly slip into the oblivion that is that seemingly endless drop to the waters below?

Tune in tomorrow ….. conclusion not guaranteed.

Let’s see, each nostril would be less than one square inch of opening, assume 15 pounds per square inch rather than 14.7 and you are left with an absolute maximum of 30 pounds of suction.
.
Yep, that would hold Agnes up.
