Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

Agnes, you ARE a syndicated something!
Just take a few steps toward me and poke your head outside the frame…. do hang on to the edge, though! Don’t want you falling into cyberspace!
If you look back from that vantage point, you’ll see that you’re on a syndicated comics website!
And in between two of your panels it says “Creators.com.”
Don’t let it go to your head, but last I looked you had about 35,000 subscribers.
You’re doing a great job.
Say thanks to Tony Cochran — I know I do!

@SusanSunshine
The sad part is that she has achieved her goal but hasn’t realized it.

Funny.
In its normal size, this strip is in B&W.
But when I enlarge it, it’s in color.
Must be gremlins in GoComics.

The point of the cartoon was that she wanted to be syndicated and didn’t realise she already was!

Could anyone tell me ho to use those italics? Can only " pro " comic commenters use them? Thanks in advance.

Agnes is in search of greatness. With it comes celebrity an a proxy form of immortality.

HobbesO — Italics are made by typing an underscore ( _ ) touching both ends of the word(s) you want to italicise.
_italic._makes italic.(Include any punctuation inside the pair of underscores.)
BTW There’s absolutely no difference between Pro and free memberships except for not seeing ads if you pay your 99 cents a month, which, to me, is worth it.

The Andy Griffith Show was never any good after Barney (Don Knotts) left. It just wasn’t the same! :-(

HobbesO — you’re quite welcome!!
Forgot to say, you get bold if you substitute asterisks (*) for the underscores.
