Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

But if Trout moves away, Agnes will have to go barefoot.
Ouch!

This has got to be the ugliest drawn comic I’ve ever seen. No wonder only two comments have been made so far when I got here. I came out of curiosity and I won’t be back. Not even funny to me.

Sorry you don’t like 436. This is one that I look for every day, especially since the way the characters are drawn is used as part of the humor in the strip.

The humor in Agnes can be a bit eclectic, but even after pairing away dozens of comics from my daily read it is worth the stop.

Are people more likely to post something if it’s a negative comment? Probably. So with that thought, let me tip the balance by saying that Agnes is a unique and wonderful comic strip!

I agree, Stephen - I don’t usually comment here, but I ALWAYS start off with Agnes. Wouldn’t miss it.

I don’t usually comment on any of the comics I read, but this is one of my favorites.
@ Ushindi:
Good one! :-D

Agnes’ weird perspective on life, perhaps a result of her
weird looks, is what makes the humor in this comic so unique. One of my favorites.
