There’s supposedly an Alf the movie Hollywood types are trying to get the moneyed producer types interested in. Not sure if it will ever see the light of day.

A little postscript on our phys-ed discussion:
Three pieces of bad news for Public Middle School and High School coaches and Phys—Ed teachers in the public schools here –
    A) Effective this year Phys-ed is no longer mandatory. – 11 secondary coaches will lose their jobs.
    B) Phys-Ed teachers and coaches can no longer dock a student’s if a student doesn’t participate in intramural sports.
    C) By the 2018-2019 school year ALL Phys-Ed teachers and coaches at all levels, (including elementary,) must have 12 class hours of Physical Rehabilitation, and 8 class hours of PMT. This is an upgrade, up to now it was necessary to be first responders, and trained on AEDs. This must be college level training. (This is a state wide requirement.)
I feel bad for all the dumbskull Dudley Dursleys that have to take a real college courses and maintain a B+ average.

Maya did sport some nifty eyebrows, but had one of the most poorly executed TV magic powers ever.

    Maya was a “shape-shifter”.

Never noticed the poorly executed TV magic powers. Too busy appreciating Catherine Schell’s beauty

Really? Now I know why I enjoyed this goofy character!
Just kidding, cat lovers! Honest, I’m just kidding…

Catherine Schell’s “magical powers” were those of a shape changer in ‘Space: 1999’. Her shape looked pretty good to me without changing.

    Nanoo, Nanoo my friends.
Alf was cute in a way. I had forgotten his fave food was cats.
Liked the character of Maya. The special effects when she shape shifted – well – they did keep using the same footage over and over and over again of the transports ships. So the budget was tight.

But my fave aliens are from Farscape – Pa’Zotch Zhann – our very tall, blue lady. Ka D’Argo a warrior, Pilot – does exactly that, Scorpico – nasty fellow. And who can forget his royalness Dominar Rygel XVI?

Her ability to turn into the BEM of the week was bad enough, but when she turned into a man in a Kendo kit, that was just too silly for me. That’s saying a lot for a show based around ignoring physics and an automated Eagle factory.
