If she wants to be a real pony, feed her hay and oats.

I’m sure just plain oatmeal will do as well.

yep. They are hard for kids to chew. Later on, when the jaw is stronger, one usually learns to like them or ignore them.

There’s and oats and molasses horse feed that pretty tasty, I’ve known more than a few people who work with horses have snacked on it

Fill her up a little trough of that and have a sugar cube ready for dessert

Is later in life when people can appreciate bitter tastes in food.

And why do they call them grilled cheese sandwiches, anyway? They should be called gridled sándwiches. Maybe a panini could be called a grilled sándwich, but not so sure.

It would never have occurred to me to ask to have the crusts removed from my sandwiches, but I did always refuse to eat the heels. I wanted “bread on both sides” so the heels went to the chickens.

If Adam heard, “Ponygirl needs food,” he’d take it as a Gauntlet reference.

Batman wasn’t playing at being a bat. Neither is Pony Girl playing at being a pony.

Aaaaahhh, this whole series is just adorably sweet enough to make one want to upchuck all over the keyboard.
