I do little projects on my own car, as well.
Last month I rebuilt my automatic transmission. At home, in my garage.

Every time My Mountain Man “works on the car” something bad happens……………….did I mention we have a GREAT relationship with the car dealer in town?

I’m lucky. I read directions, take time to think (too long according to everyone), and so far all my DIY projects have been fine. Shelves, fixing the car, doors, bathtub, eaves, washing machine, next up the electrics in the house.

Uh, just a caution on the electric stuff. Mind the building codes if it’s a large project. Building Inspectors have no sense of humor. My Dad, the Inspector, taught me that. Good luck, be safe & have fun.
