    I caught a stowaway black widow in a drum of aggregate once. Took a long strip of insulation that was handy, dangled it into the drum and annoyed the spider with it until the spider attacked the strip, latching onto it. I then shook the strip inside a plexiglas sample container. The thing became a lab mascot of sorts. Some of the techs and chemists were feeding the thing with bugs. Blech.

    I once found a large grey spider with a squarish red abdomen in the bathroom. I’m fairly sure it wasn’t indigenous to this country and must have sneaked into our luggage abroad.

    Clayton should capture the spider and keep it as a pet in his room. His dad will never come in the room again.

    When you’re dealing with phobias, like Adam’s fear of spiders, there is no logic or cowardice, only blind unreasoning fear. We all have some sort of flaw in our character and should give Adam a break. After all, it is providing us with some entertainment.

    My cousin found several wolf spiders on her bedroom wall. I would not be able to sleep that night with the thought that one could be in my bed.
