    Wait, he could sue the coffee place for hot coffee, and the car company for making a sunroof that didn’t detect weight on it.

    @simpsonfan2

    And he could sue himself since he did it to himself in his dream. ;)

    Question: “Why did you go to McDonald’s in the first place?”
    .
    Answer (if an honest one is given) “Because the coffee is always nice and hot there, not luke warm like those other places.”

    I’ve made mistakes myself, but I can be smug enough to say I’ve never done this. My coffee has been WAY TOO IMPORTANT for me to forget. LOL!

    If Adam hadn’t woken up, he might have dreamed that the fire department was summoned and a fire fighter doused him with a high power hose.

    I would think Adam would wake up smiling as it was ‘raining coffee’ in his dreams….truly a wish only he could imagine!

    I ahem have done this. With a large soda. Sticky but not hot at least.

    A dream in which Adam forgot about coffee would truly be a nightmare for him.

    I wonder how many american’s would sue of this happened to them?

    If the coffee were Doc Tune’s nuclear coffee, what would have hurt more, the unobtanium coffee cup hitting his head or whatever mutant power he got for the day?

    Is that what he would call a “wet” dream?

    This is a variant on an urban legend where a woman pulled away from a Mickey D’s with a coffee in her lap (or between her legs), burned herself, sued, and won. It’s why almost every fast food coffee cup now warns you in letters big enough for the blind to read that THIS COFFEE IS HOT!!!

    Unfortunately, it is not an urban legend. She actually did sue and, incredibly, won. Some juries have no sense when it comes to lawsuits.
