    back in the mid-90’s there was a short-lived comic strip called “friends of ernest”. ernest was a bernese mountain dog.

    He doesn’t say “it is August” he says “in August” which is one of the two hottest months. Thereby making his point more forcefully.

    Golden’s can have a lot of medical problems, a mix Golden has less. I say go with a mix Golden, very beautiful dogs. Both my dogs are mixs, some we know.

    Believe it or not, some of the friendliest, kissingest dogs I’ve ever met have been pit bulls.
    I’m guessing it’s because they’re so happy that I’m not afraid of them that they’re displaying their gratitude.

    Proud owner of a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. Six months old, more than fifty pounds already. Best dogs ever!

    I worked with a couple of guys who had two Bernese and hardwood floors.
    When those 250 LB dogs got excited the furniture went skating around the floor.
