   What the freak is wrong with you people? It’s a joke. She’s a comedian. Does anyone watch SNL or Conan or Letterman or TMZ? All they do is make fun of celebrities. Get a little thicker skin and drop the feigned outrage over a joke.

    Agree w/information… if Joan Rivers were even to read the comics, which I seriously doubt (surely she has more of a life than I do), I’m certain she would be pleased to see her name in print at all.

    @TrapperJohn Your opinion is Joan Rivers is an obnoxious, stupid, jerk. That’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it. I don’t think much of her comedy routines myself.

    Through the character of Adam, however, Basset and Harrel are insulting her personal appearance comparing it to that of a dog.

    There is a difference whether you wish to acknowledge it or not.

    I will attempt to give you an example.

    You are overhearing a conversation about you in both cases.

    The company owner to your direct boss 1:
    “You want TrapperJohn to make that delivery to the zoo? Be sure to tell him he is not to join his relatives in the monkey cage.”

    The company owner to your direct boss 2:
    “You want TrapperJohn to handle the Smith Account? As far as I’m concerned he can’t do his present job, let alone handle that.”

    Now do you get the difference you stupid jerk?
