    What’s the last time you went to a doc’s office & was told “a few minutes” and it was a “few minutes”? I always had to wait & wait & wait!!!!

    @Bob Vallinino

    Uh … never. I usually call the Dr’s office, and find out how far behind, and “check in” via the phone. I arrive usually 20 minutes late, and still have 10-30 minute wait!

    .
    Or I used to… I have a new family doctor, and she’s not as busy, but also, the site manager (who’s a nurse) is a very close friend, so she usually says loud enough “Mr. VanderSpek, you’re running late. You just about missed your appointment. I get you into exam room now.” haha

    Are you feeling saucy, Adam? Because the only ribs there are under your gown.

    That’s why I typically bring a book to read while I’m waiting.

    Further proof that coffee can mess with a person’s brain.

    The quality of a doctor can be measured by the waiting room. The less people in the waiting room, the better the doctor. The more people, the doctor is more concerned about over scheduling and making money than caring for a patients needs.

    Exactly, DragonPowered. I once learned, years ago, that my doctor was scheduling ten minute appointments at five minute intervals. That was the last time I saw him.
