There was a very similar theme on a “Shoe” comic strip last week.
Skylar had asked his obese uncle Cosmo Fishhawk if he ever exercised. Cosmo replied, “I exercise my right not to exercise!”
Among the posts that day was an amusing line allegedly from Chauncey Depew: “My exercise is acting as pallbearer for my friends who exercise.” Love it!

On Saturdays, the stretch is optional!

While I might stretch after lying on the sofa for a while and not napping, when I attempt to stretch while lying on the bed when I wake up in the morning, I often get leg cramps.

My job is physically demanding enough it keeps me in very fit shape without ever needing to work out

I don’t exercise, my physique knows better than to go soft and flabby. Boot to the head
