   When I was a teacher and had parent-teacher conferences, adult size chairs were available for the parents to use.

   When my wife and I went to parent-teacher conferences, they usually had 1 adult-size chair for the parent. They just weren’t used to having 2 parents show up!

    Kobe beef – I still resent a set of circumstances that had visiting leadership get Kobe beef at a dinner hosted by a butcher shop owner in Kakogawa while I ended up going to the next dinner he hosted where he served his personal favorite – barbecued tripe. Someday I must find a restaurant and funds to experience the good stuff.
