I see an inappropriate ad right next to where I have to comment. Why are they showing pornography on this page?

Excuse me, but he is putting his laundry in the DRYER.
The washing machine is on the left.

Not only is overloading a washer bad for the machine, the clothes don’t get as clean.
13 years of doing laundry for my ex, and 4 years on my own, have taught me a few things.

Just finished my laundry for another week. Whew!
I live in an apartment building that is undergoing extensive renovation, and the basement–where the laundry room is located–looks as if a mega-bomb went off.

Only the bravest would do a heroic thing like that, LOL. That’s pretty dumb. :-)

@Macushalondra,
Porn ads? I see three ads for teeth whitening. Very annoying, but not as offensive as what you saw. Does this web change the ads? Lets find out if there’s a way to affect the ads we are shown. I let my kids sit on my lap while I read the comics. Don’t want to have to deal with scanning the ads for content before the coffee’s kicked in.

There /are/ front-loading washing machines. If you overload either the front-loading washer or dryer, the belt breaks – I know from very recent experience, when my wife went to visit her relatives.

i forsee another crisis at the house, like with adam’s recent bbq fiasco, but this one involving flooding
@Macushalondra & others with those annoying ads
try to locate the site for adblock plus, it is a way to block all those stupid unwanted pop up ads that can at times come with a tag along virus

If you have IE8, click the little lock at the bottom, right of the info bar. This eliminates most of the ads for me. See the occasional banner, but none of the side ads at all. I have complained in the past about being redirected to inappropriate sites and gocomics has responded (and improved things it seems).

Yes, there ARE front-load washers, BUT the machine to the left of Adam has a lid ON TOP, which obviously makes it a washer, and Adam is “starting” the laundry in the dryer.
As for the ads, get Firefox and the extension “AdBlock Plus”, and then you won’t see the ads at all. Plus you’re browsing will be so much safer.

Thanks Saucy1121, that is good to know.
Adam, she knows you toooo well!
Joe Allen Doty said, 2 months ago
TrapperJohn is correct. The machine on the left has a lid on top.
There are washers which are front loading; but, not the one in today’s strip.
But, since Adam answered the phone immediately after shutting the door and starting the machine, any dryer that would start smoking that soon, overloaded or not, would need to be replaced.
I’m just being realistic here.

Now she didn’t mention which one…She just said the machine. Hmmm. Either way, looks overloaded! UH OH…

Maybe the lint trap needs to be cleaned out. That can catch fire.

I have Ad Block Plus on my FireFox - if it’s blocking the kind of ads that Macushlalondra sees, then I’m getting rid of it.
