They tried that in New Orleans for awhile, but the servers kept on wearing white shrimp boots instead of go-go boots. They call ‘em Cajun Reeboks down there.

She should apply. That’ll show him. But he’s married not dead.

it worked for the grill i don’t know if it will work twice.

Are the white go-go boots the ONLY thing the young attractive female servers are wearing?

Talk about a HOT cup of coffee!

I am a barista at the “bucks”, and while cleaning the machines one night splashed extremely hot (180* plus) water on my shirt. I was burned through the material in a very very painful part of my anatomy that only my husband was allowed to rub on the burn lotion.
Based on that, I don’t think that topless or nude coffee shops would be either intelligent or practical.

Looks like Adam will soon be the proud owner of a new coffee machine. And they’ve come out with some really good ones. I’ve already drooled over several models.

adam is trying to put the blame on her,
well maybe she should make him get one of those hand grinders and the old percolator coffee pots

iamtxmilady - I sympathize with you. Coffee burns are far from pleasant, but thanks for the story. Each time I go into a coffee shop now, when I look at the barista, I will have thoughts about more than just a hot cup of coffee. LOL

The waitresses wore miniskirts, too.
In Italy, a “barista” is merely a bartender.

If Adam is SO unsuccessful in his job that they can’t even afford a $15 coffee maker (which I’m assuming because of his comment about not being allowed to buy a new one), he certainly shouldn’t be going OUT for coffee.

Too bad he can’t just steal the line, “I’m just a guy!” from Bill Engvall. It SO would fit here.

Considering how much he must spend on buying coffee, I would think a coffee maker would pay for itself in a very short time. (Assuming he quit buying coffee away from home.)

If mama started working there, it would cut down on his coffee habit.
