I had a friend who used to call tea and lemonade mixed together “teamonade.” I never knew it was called an “Arnold Palmer.”

I found out what an “Arnold Palmer” drink was yesterday. I didn’t know it but I have been drinking Arnold Palmers on occasion for most of my life. I do like half tea/half lemonade mixed together.

We always mixed Kool-Aid with lemonade. Really gave it a kick.

Sometimes I’ll make an Arnold Palmer at the soda fountain since most places will offer iced tea and lemonade separately. One place I went to only had pink lemonade and raspberry iced tea, so I turned to my friend and quipped, “I think I just made a gay Arnold Palmer.”
