Brings back fond memories…
“you kids settle down now!”, “don’t make me come back there!”

my son was born with health issues. After surviving a couple of times when he was seriously against the odds (like a less than 15% chance of living), his doctor said it was because he’s too stubborn to give up. Now that he’s 11 and constantly challenging us, my famliy like to point out that we should remember to be glad he’s so stubborn.
Definitely, a double edged sword.

This strip could have taken a very different path if you drop Adam’s last two words in the first panel… ;)

Mr. Basset, Where are these parks that take 10 hours to reach? Tucson to the Grand Canyon? I’m getting homesick.
I’m editing this to ask why the word genius is there…it sure isn’t moi.

When we took an 8 hour trip to Disneyland we left at 11:00 PM so the little ones would sleep all the way there, too bad the return trip was during the day.

Hey - I just noticed her eyebrows are on top of her hair! Weird.
