Yeah, no kid could procure his own fireworks

Clayton and his sister were born in this era. Asking then about “West Side Story” would be useless.
husky51 said, 4 months ago
but I have seen ‘West Side Story’ on the TV within the last few years…! And it’s in the local Blockbuster, so if the family rented it together then Clayton might just know about the ‘Jets’ and ‘Officer Krupke’…..

most kids would be bored with west side story, not enough, blood and guts action to suit them
shredder32 said, 4 months ago
Of course, if you watch “Mythbusters,” you don’t need amateur hour fireworks. You MAKE your own. :^)

Looking back at my youth, I’m sooo glad Adam has this attitude about fireworks. His kids do NOT need them.

“i once met a girl named maria” right?

I did discover once that if you drop an M80 in a 55 gallon drum filled with water it will split it down the side. An experiment so interesting that it was performed on all the fire barrels in camp.

Ah “Party poppers” when your town bans all fireworks (no matter if they’re “safe of sane” or “extreme”) Party Poppers are the only fireworks that the retail stores have and that your town allows you to have as a last resort to celebrate for the Forth of July. And that’s bad.

What a boring dad. Some fireworks wouldn’t hurt. You just have to supervise.
