There are greater tragedies than being out of coffee.
It hard to imagine greater tragedies, however, when one is out of coffee.
Is caffeine a food group?
It should be.

Oh, Adam, I am so with you on this. You NEVER run out of coffee. EVER!

@ Ash, my coffee agrees too.

If you ever do run out of Coffee, (I believe the noble brew should ALWAYS be capitalized), it will be Brian’s fault… He forgot to draw some for you… :)

Once he has that first cup he’s gonna be grumpy….
You don’t put coffee in the freezer, it dries up all the tasty oils. If you’re Adam I doubt it takes long to get through a pound, no need to preserve it.

I could never make such a big production over coffee - I start my day with a Pepsi. I would never let myself run out of Pepsi… and I do get pissed when vendors only sell coke products.

That last panel made me laugh out loud.
And while I’ve been enjoying the Rob Harrell’s comics, this is the first time he’s made me do that. Today’s was a good strip.

Talk about grounds for divorce. Or lack of grounds, actually.

@ MelisaD. Rob Harrell? I thought Brian Basset did this. Rob Harrell does Big Top. WAKE UP! Have some smore coffee.

DiceR: Harrell DID “Big Top”, now does “Adam@Home”. Basset DID “Adam@Home”, now does only “Red and Rover”. You can’t always trust the signatures. You can Google for the relevant press releases.

pschearer, I was wondering why the comic took on a new visual feel (Adam & family don’t look quite the same) and the topics haven’t been dealing with actually working at home as Basset often wrote of. Your comment explains everything. I have loved Adam since it began as a strip by the same name though I’ve never even heard of Red and Rover until now.

@Doc: Caffeine is a drug. I would think that a Doctor would know that.
BTW, Caffeine replaced the cocaine in CokaCola (Coke) over a centery ago. They had a tad more lax drug laws way back then, that’s for sure. Pepsi is a pale imitation I beleive. : )

Shikamoo MB: Not only caffeine, but alcohol and the very addictive nicotine.
And did you read about the Red Bull that was pulled from store shelves in Japan and Germany because it had traces of cocaine?

Poor Adam…
By the way, I think Brian Basset still does the writing for “Adam@home”, even though he doesn’t draw it anymore.
