Welcome to the new way to office, straight from the humor of Brian Basset. Follow this hilarious yet true-to-life work-at-home dad, Adam, as he deals with job deadlines, minivan support groups, sibling arguments and marital bliss while chasing down overnight delivery trucks and searching for the perfect latte to appease his caffeine addiction.

Nutcase. Adam is turning into Calvin’s dad, only less funny.

Great call, Attyash.
Definitely not as funny as Calvin, but light years away from that week long (though it felt like a month) series on beer songs.

Now this is funny. Basset does the Sundays and the other dude does the weekdays, It is sooooo obvious. I’m only gonna read Adam on Sunday from now on.
Brian! Do the weekdays too! We need more humor like today’s!

maybeinthenextworld - If you notice the name in panel 3, this is done by Harrell. Looks as if you must like his work after all.
rudivari - Change happens, learn to accept that and you will be a happier person.

Harrell does the art. Period. Brian Basset does the writing. Period.

I take it Adam has never played basketball in his life!
maybeinthenestworld, if you were such a fan you would have known all this weeks ago! This site was almost as busy as SOTU!

It’s time to get over the changes in Adam. You either embrace what is put in front of you or move on to other things. Bemoaning the change only annoys others.

Good one.

Maybeinthenextworld: You’re an instigator, why have you “favorited” Adam so much if you don’t like it ?

rudivari – you are a troll. A first-time posting troll. we know you ARE one person who just re-registers under different names. Get a life!

Adam@home seems to have changed slightly and in subtle ways, as if these are reruns of earlier (and younger) Adam. Who knows?! Maybe it’s just me.
warren.dimontague said, 7 months ago
I think you’re right Jeff. These are reruns from when Mr. Basset actually cared about the strip … which means it must have been sometime during the second term of Ronald Reagan.
maybeinthenextworld said, 7 months ago
Information, I’m “favorite”-ing the strip ironically.
I admit it’s a subtle play, but I’m sending a non-violent message to the cartoonist that comic strips can only be done by their original creators.
BTW, I laughed long and hard today at Beetle Bailey, Blondie, Hi & Lois, Frank & Ernest, BC, Wizard of Id, Dennis the Menace, Shoe, Nancy and Funky Winkerbean.

thank you. as i see it , if you dislike any cartoon on this site enough to complain then simply stop clicking it .. PERIOD

Well I am admittedly new to this post, but I do notice that posters do talk about a change in the strip, changes that I had posted that I’d noticed earlier. So what exactly is it that has changed? Is it the author or are these old reruns or something else?
Thanks for the information.

jeffvirant, since you seem to be new and not a troller, Brain Bassett turned the strip over to Ron Harrell who did the Big Top, also seen on this site, so that he could concentrate on his other strip “Red & Rover”. For a few weeks Brian still did the Sunday strip but now everything is in Mr. Harells hands, who I think is doing a fine job!
And if you have never checked out Red & Rover, you should. It’s a CHARMING strip!
