    It’s obvious now: we got all the theme weeks because Basset didn’t have time to both script and draw this strip while fulfilling his other obligations. His choice of using another artist has kept the strip alive, and has given him a chance to show some skill at writing.

    I appreciate the better writing and can put up with the sarcasm he’s added.

    Reminds me of the joke of a man making a sandwhich while checking his baby’s diaper. He is suing Grey Poupon Mustard. He notices the ‘Gery Poupon’ on his finger. He puts the finger in his mouth without sniffing first. As soon as his finger hit his tongue, he realized what he had done. Yes, he did!
