Wait, wasn’t Dorothy Hamill the Olympic figure skater? What does that have to do with Luke Skywalker?

The character of Luke Skywalker was played by the actor Mark Hamill.

Dorothy Hamill was the Gold Medalist Figure Skater in the 1976
Winter Olympics in Insbruck, Austria (I was in high school during those events). She is NOT related to Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker (Anakin/Darth Vader’s Son) in Star Wars 4 thru 6 as well as being the voice of many cartoon characters, most notiby The Joker in “Batman: The Animated Series”.
