I love Christmas, this one was the best for me in years. What I don’t like is the pressure we sometimes allow holidays to exert on us. The shopping and preparations can become so all important that expectations are too high. I’ve seen meltdowns over the concept that everything has to be ‘perfect’. On the one hand a holiday is a special day, on the other hand it’s just another day. Perfect is impossible, good should be good enough.
