As President of the neighborhood association I want to point out how your "quality desktop publishing" sign erected on your property is in direct violation with covenants pertaining to "visual lawn displays." Adam: Where were those covenants adopted? Man: Um, lemme see...Ahhh, here it is. September 1965, when the association was formed. Why? Adam: Oh, nothing much. Just that personal computers and desktop publishing didn't exist back then. Man: Oh...right, right. Forget it then.
