Isn’t it? It was recited at an auditorium during an interview at the Sydney Writers’ Festival in 2010. Upon hearing it in a recording some time later, I enjoyed it so much I memorized it with the notion that one day I would put pictures to the words. I’m happy to see it still amuses.

Ha! I enjoy limericks (many of them not quite this benign) and this one is very clever as you are waiting for the “shocker” to fall. A nice change of pace today and well done, Talon.
