The Academia Waltz was Berke Breathed's first cartoon, published daily from 1978 to 1979 in The Daily Texan at The University of Texas at Austin, where he was a student. The strip focused primarily on college life, although it sometimes made references to big news stories of the time (such as the incident at Three Mile Island in 1979).

Let’s not forget how Ronny Raygunz made a secret deal with the Iranians to hold our hostages longer so he could have them released after he took office and so he could get the credit instead of President carter. He ensured our hostages stayed in captivity longer just so he could look good.

I always wondered why our equipment mysteriously failed when President Carter sent the mission to rescue the Hostages and yet virtually the same equipment worked fine for Reagan when we attacked Iraq. . . ? ? ?

Its on record by the way that Reagan had made a deal with Iran about the hostages before he was elected. He then got money to by arms to trade for the hostages which is against international law. Why do you have no outrage about this?
