That sums up every relationship I had. I brought everything to the table, as well as the table. The women brought nothing, not even good conversation.

Have you tried a Wacom pad? I bought the Bamboo about six months ago. It makes the inking much easier and less messy. I have grandkids that are in and out and getting ink spilled would certainly be a given. Some people even use the pad from the rough sketch all the way to the finished art. I have done this a few times, but I prefer penciling and scanning it in. I still make lots of changes from there.

Also, I am left handed and this saves me from smudges. If you make a mistake it is easy to go back, putting the white out people out of biz, I suppose. Also if a proportion is wrong, you can resize the part that is too big or too small.

There are cheaper and certainly more expensive Wacoms, but the Bamboo at $200 is not a bad price for what you get and I found the size to be just what I was looking for. Maybe if I ever find myself with a larger budget, I will get a higher price one with more whistles and bells, but for now this one fits my needs and I love it.

I call it a tool, my wife calls it my toy.
