Perhaps if Chicken went to a telephone booth and changed into a superhero costume….
Hey, tell them I want to read it!
“Bring out the king, and we will show him some PUNCH lines.”
THEY WERE WRONG! THEY WERE WRONG!
Gonna miss this strip!
Perhaps they could tame some prehistoric beasties, and Steve could call it, “Jurassic Barnyard”!
I have lots of comics with talking animals in my queue.
Run away, run away!
Is this how it ends?
I think this was the final entry. :-(
@cdward There were 14 or so more in the original run.
Steve, I hope your surgery went well and that you’ll come back and let us know how you’re getting along!
Merry Christmas Steve & to your family as well!!! I hope your recovery is going well.
Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year to you, Steve, your family and all the readers of your fantastic strip, Two Cows and a Chicken!
Merry Christmas! Thanks Mr.Skelton for the years of enjoyment I have experienced with you and your creation.
We can’t let it end due to a lucky flaming jello shot!
:-(. :-(. :-(. :-(!
Here is what was on line- 2 Cows and a Chicken by Steve Skelton for Dec 8, … I would love to continue doing the strip, … I have my last surgery next week.
This is one of my favorite comics of all time. My local rag, the Raleigh News & Observer, runs 34 comics daily. I have to endure inane and outdated runs of Blondie, Beetle Bailey, Wizard of Id, and Peanuts. (Actually don’t endure, because I just skip them.) There is obviously room for a great comic like 2 Cows and a Chicken.
Is there any money to be made from the Tundra model? Our paper dropped it starting January 1, and I can’t get the current comics as the author delays publication outside the syndicate.
Oh, and there are 50% more followers for 2CaaC on GC than WuMo (an excellent comic which I read every day here), which the N&O picked up and dropped the outdated B.C. Jan 1.
Is it over? Too good to end, especially like this!
I miss this strip! SURE GLAD I STARTED A SCRAP BOOK ABOUT 8 years or so ago. Still need to put a few of them in 3 ring binders yet, but I have them! TAKE CARE STEVE!! MANY HUGS FOR YOU, SIR!
Steve, as someone who deeply respects this strip and has faithfully followed you to this place, I would humbly ask you on behalf of us all to finish the strip in style. Give it a befitting end. Flaming jello shots? Please finish well. It is, after all, who you are. With love, A Skate-Boarding Frog
