Sigh, all’s well in the world tonight. Gods in their Heavens, livestock in their pens, and farmers asleep in their beds.

Chicken better be a hen and start laying eggs pronto, or he will be the main ingredient of a stew. The cows, now, have a different problem. Cold hands and even colder milking machines early in the morning could be in their future.

If cows, and other animals we get milk from, aren’t milked they get uncomfortable and could have life-threatening problems. Women who are breastfeeding get very uncomfortable if they don’t nurse.

When the farmer discovers these cows don’t have udders and chicken is a rooster, it’ll be off to the auction yard.

Been there done that, well had a friend do it. We had a cow to milk and I made him wash his hands in COLD water until they were cold. Then had him try to milk her by hand into a bucket. Told him to set on the stool and keep his head against her side. When he reached down and put his hands on her teats she just almost kicked him out of the stall, still laugh about it today, me not him.
