No one in town -- neither the real estate developer nor the relatives -- was happy when Farmer Ray left everything to his beloved farm animals. So they fled in fear, leaving a spunky young girl named Pearl to battle for their rights. Now the farm is theirs, but neither Pearl, nor the Wise Crow, nor the Weird Rabbits, can find them. Join the intrepid trio as they adventure their way across the land, seeking wide and far for their long lost home sweet home.

People who declaw their cats should have their fingernails ripped out with a pair of pliers.

I’ve never heard of removing the hind claws. That’s just mean.

That looks worse than a Dean Martin celebrity roast.

“When the mice take your claws
and the vet takes your ba**s
that’s immoral.”

I only had one cat declawed. I hated to do it, but a kitten armed with its natural switchblades does not mix well with a 2 year old daughter. It is strange to watch this cat climb trees and the inside of our chimney to get the birds that are nesting there.
The next cat we have showed up at our house when my daughter was 9 years old and is fully armed. Sometimes, though, i wish he was declawed, especially when he decides to knead my lap when I am petting him. However, he is safe because I do not want to cripple another cat.

Max should have read that disarmament claws in his contract.

@Digital Frog
But they didn’t disarm him.

…bullcookies…we grew up (9 kids) with undeclawed cats living all over us. Yes, we occasionally got scratched (probably because we were doing things we shouldn’t have been doing to the poor things) but that’s how you learn NOT to pull kitty’s tail! Don’t know why you’d think that the claws are the dangerous part anyway – the teeth are the REAL danger – just see how badly infected a cat bite can get….poor cat!…

A lot of people do not know what is involved in a declawing. They think it is like having fingernails removed. Any responsible vet will explain that it is like removing the the whole tips of your fingers, and that it is usually necessary, before executing this operation..

But it should have at least given him a reason to paws and consider the possible effects.

Why don’t you tell a few more people how to live their lives, eh? is it lonely on your pedestal?

…as a matter of fact, sounds like you’d like me to make some room for you up here – find your own…oh, sorry, i see you already did…i don’t particularly care what that person does to themselves, but anyone who decides to get an animal to live with them and their two year old, and THEN decides that oops, maybe kitty is tooo dangerous as is, let’s tear out their 10 inch switchblades, and THEN talks about it on line, deserves whatever comments they get, from me or anybody else…
