No one in town -- neither the real estate developer nor the relatives -- was happy when Farmer Ray left everything to his beloved farm animals. So they fled in fear, leaving a spunky young girl named Pearl to battle for their rights. Now the farm is theirs, but neither Pearl, nor the Wise Crow, nor the Weird Rabbits, can find them. Join the intrepid trio as they adventure their way across the land, seeking wide and far for their long lost home sweet home.

@Three Steps Over Japan
Really? Things are so comically non-sensical around here that I took what was posted in stride. This adds a nice touch, but evidently I filled in the gap correctly enough.
“Makes sense”. Three Steps Over Japan, you just might have been reading this strip too long. LOL

Still not much for a cow to eat in that cart. A bale of hay would have been nice, but of course they don’t carry that at Costco

Somehow I missed that the Costco had been robbed. I was wondering what I was doing wrong all these years that the three of them could afford all that food from Costco and I can barely afford a bottle of the wine my wife loves so much.

I want a Jumbo CheesePak. I don’t remember seeing those. They probably would have been more comfortable if they had found a Volkswagen to cram themselves into.

Hey now… finding a phone booth is no easy task. But then again, that’s how urban legens are born. “BTW… anyone have a quarter? Got to make a call to Pearl.” Oh my! The legend grows.

At least in a phone booth they won’t be disturbed.
(So what is it, a gopher or a groundhog? Make up your mind, Steve.)
