Doh, the nights have been getting shorter since Dec 21st….

Ever notice that it seems that the longer days seems to come back quicker this time of year then then seem to go away in the Fall? Doesn’t make sense intuitively but sure seems that way. I wonder if that is purely psychological or has to do with the way we orbit the Sun. I always figured that over the course of a year that every sqft of earth gets the exact same amount of potential light from the Sun ie it all balances out

Actually, Dec. 21 was the shortest day of the year, and since then the days have been getting longer. Days will continue to get longer until approx. June 21-22 the longest day of the year, at which time the days will start getting shorter again until approx. Dec. 21-22 to start the cycle over again. This is true for North America at least.

This just hits too close to home, I manage the Frozen Foods department

Bad news for Chicken, TV dinners with chicken outsell TV dinners with beef by a very wide margin
